HOW IT WORKS
PRACTICAL GUIDE
Add page numbers places a small numeric label near the bottom of every page and saves a new PDF. Numbering may start at zero or any positive integer, with left, center and right positions.
Add a continuous reference so readers can discuss a finished document by page.
Start above 1 when the PDF continues from an earlier document.
Add page references before a team exchanges comments.
HOW THE PDF CHANGES
The current version uses standard Helvetica with a fixed size and color. Prefixes, suffixes and custom fonts are not supported yet.
Numbers are drawn over page content. Documents with text near the bottom edge may overlap and should be inspected.
Added labels do not update bookmarks, tables of contents or numbers already printed on pages.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The label uses a fixed bottom margin. Choose another position or wait for advanced Windows positioning.
Not in the current web release; it adds consecutive integers only.
FAQ
